Yesterday we went to Sophia's 7 month checkup. I can't believe how fast time is going. It seems like just last week we were bringing her home from the hospital.
Anyway, we found out at the appointment that Sophia weighs in at a hefty 18.8 lbs. and measures a not so lengthy 26 inches. We have also been given the okay to start feeding Sophia some more "grown up" foods, i.e. chicken that is boiled and ground up, mashed potatoes with veggies ground up in them and basically anything just as long as it is ground up. Sophia also had to endure 4 shots...she was quite the little trooper. I, on the other hand, was dying inside with every prick of the needle.
I am kind of torn between being really excited that my baby is getting so big and being really sad because my BABY is getting SO BIG!! So not only was this last doctor's appointment quite informative (I asked about a million questions) but it also really made me think about the fact that time goes by way too fast so blinking is not even an option!
