First Allergy

Well after giving Sophia 3 doses of her antibiotic Joey noticed that she had a little rash on her neck. I started to worry so I took off her clothes and inspected her whole body and discovered a very red and lumpy rash on her face, neck, back and tummy. After the first trip to the doctor's office Sophia was pretty traumatized so the minute we walked in the second time she began to panic. Anyway, after the doc checked her out it turns out Sophia has an allergy to the antibiotic the had prescribed. So now we have a different antibiotic and some Benydryl for the allergic reaction.

Sophia seems to be feeling better but I am exhausted and still worried because we still have to have some more tests done to make sure her kidneys are working properly. Since Sophia is now terrified of the doctor's office I am dreading the upcoming appointments because it breaks my heart to see my little one scared and upset. This is definitely the hard part of motherhood.
