Still sick

This is by far the worst cold Sophia has ever had! She really hasn't ever had anything but a little runny nose up until now. She spends most of the night crying, sleeping and coughing (in that order) and so on over and over until finally she is just too exhausted to cough or cry anymore so she sleeps. The days have been spent whining, sleeping and occasionally playing for a few minutes until she realizes she feels crappy and then starts the whining all over again.
I am so tired (still getting over the tonsillitis) and have almost lost it quite a few times. Then that mommy instinct or whatever it is kicks in again and I just do what needs to be done regardless of the fact that I am more sleep deprived than I have been since Sophia was a newborn. Thank God for instinct and coffee!!!
